Celia Parra
Licensed acupuncturist and clinic director
- Licensed Acupuncturist · TX Lic. 000000
Celia opened Hawthorn and still sees patients four days a week. She explains each step before she begins, and checks in about pressure as she works.
Hawthorn began as one room and one acupuncturist, and it is four now. We stay small on purpose: you see one person at each visit, and the front desk knows your name.
Most people who come in work during the day, have a health plan and want to know what a visit costs before they book. So we work with many plans, check your benefits first and say plainly what we cannot do.
We do not replace your doctor or change your medicines. We do not promise results: people respond differently, and we say so.

Jermaine sees many people who sit at a desk or stand on a shift all day. He keeps his notes plain and tells you what he plans before the first needle goes in.

Haeun likes a quiet room and a slow start. If needles worry you, ask for her: she can begin with cupping or ear seeds and move to needles when you are ready.

Wayne works Saturday mornings and some evenings, for people whose week leaves little room for a weekday visit. He is the one to ask for a late slot.
